Full Stack Developer – Lead Experience Full Time

Our client is seeking a Full Stack Developer with proven lead experience to take ownership of software development while guiding and mentoring other developers. This role offers a balanced focus on hands-on coding, technical leadership and continuous improvement, ideal for a systems thinker who is comfortable embracing AI and modern development practices.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop clean, scalable front-end and back-end solutions.
• Build, document and maintain APIs and system integrations.
• Design, optimise and manage databases for accuracy, integrity and performance.
• Implement Git workflows and CI/CD pipelines to support reliable deployments.
• Participate in code reviews and maintain strong engineering standards.
• Troubleshoot technical issues, improve system performance and enhance existing solutions.
• Contribute across the full Software Development Life Cycle within an Agile environment.
• Translate business requirements into practical technical solutions.
• Support, mentor and provide technical guidance to junior developers.
• Lead and train team members while remaining hands-on with development.

Requirements:
• Relevant qualification with strong .NET / C# development experience.
• Solid knowledge of .NET frameworks and modern development practices.
• Front-end experience with HTML5, CSS, XML and jQuery.
• Experience developing and integrating APIs.
• Strong database fundamentals, including schema design, optimisation and performance tuning.
• Proficiency in SQL, SSMS and SSRS, with the ability to develop effective queries and reports.
• ERP and/or retail systems experience is highly advantageous.
• AWS and/or Azure experience is a strong advantage.
• Strong problem-solving and systems-thinking ability.
• Demonstrated ownership and ability to drive tasks through to completion.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• An interest in using AI within software development, or an openness to adopting AI tools and practices.
