Professional Quantity Surveyor Full Time

We have a client with an amazing opportunity based in Cape Town, Western Cape

Role: Professional Quantity Surveyor
Industry: Construction & Property Consulting
Level: Senior Professional (10+ years experience)

Key Requirements:
• Bachelor of Science in Quantity Surveying or equivalent qualification
• Current registration with SACQSP (South African Council for the Quantity Surveying Profession)
• Minimum 10 years of quantity surveying experience with Principal Agent experience advantageous
• Extensive knowledge of JBCC contract documentation and full application
• Proficiency in specialized Quantity Surveying software and cost modeling techniques
• Expertise in preparing detailed elemental estimates and commercial viability studies
• Experience managing construction tender preparation, adjudication processes, and formal vetting of tenderers
• Proven ability to compile precise Bill of Quantities and monthly progress valuations
• Strong background in cost engineering, budget tracking, and final account preparations
• Experience developing SOPs and templates to improve operational efficiency
