Project Manager – Water & Wastewater Projects Full Time NEW

Our client is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of water and wastewater treatment projects from contract award through to commissioning and final handover. This role offers the opportunity to manage multidisciplinary teams, engage directly with clients, and oversee turnkey EPC projects from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities
• Manage the complete lifecycle of water and wastewater treatment projects.
• Develop, maintain, and monitor project schedules, budgets, and programmes.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering teams, including Process, Mechanical, and E,C&I.
• Oversee procurement of equipment, materials, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships while providing regular project updates.
• Manage project risks, variations, claims, and change control processes.
• Supervise installation, commissioning, and site activities while ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
• Ensure quality assurance throughout the project lifecycle and oversee the delivery of complete handover documentation.
• Report on project performance, profitability, and cash flow to senior management.

Minimum Requirements
• BSc, BEng or BTech in Mechanical, Process, Chemical, Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 3 years’ project management experience within EPC, water treatment, process plant, or construction environments.
• Proven ability to deliver projects on time and within budget.
• Strong commercial understanding and experience managing project finances and subcontractors.
• Ability to interpret P&IDs and engineering drawings.
• Excellent communication, planning, and stakeholder management skills.
• Project Management certification (PMP, Pr.CPM or equivalent) will be advantageous.
