QA Engineer Full Time

Our client is seeking an experienced QA Engineer to join their growing team. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of payment platforms through a combination of manual and automated testing.

Key Responsibilities:
• Design, execute, and maintain test cases for new and existing functionality
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing
• Build and extend automated test suites using JavaScript and Playwright or similar frameworks
• Develop and execute API and web UI automation tests
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and monitor test stability
• Test client integrations and validate OpenAPI-based services
• Log, track, and verify defects through to resolution
• Collaborate with development, product, and support teams throughout the SDLC
• Support UAT, production releases, and 3rd line investigations

Requirements:
• Relevant tertiary qualification in Software Development, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 4+ years of software QA experience, including test automation
• Strong JavaScript skills for automated testing
• Experience with Playwright or similar automation frameworks
• Solid understanding of QA methodologies and the software development lifecycle
• API testing experience using Postman, REST Assured, or similar tools
• SQL experience with MS SQL Server or PostgreSQL
• Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and defect tracking tools such as Jira

Advantageous:
• ISTQB certification
• JMeter, Grafana k6, and Docker experience
• Exposure to payment platforms, financial transaction systems, or Postilion
• Experience with Agile/Scrum environments and Angular applications
