Senior Systems Engineer Full Time

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Systems Engineer to join their technology team. This role is suited to a technically strong infrastructure professional who enjoys working across cloud, virtualization, automation, and systems reliability while contributing to strategic technology initiatives.
Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines to support efficient software delivery.
• Automate infrastructure deployment and configuration using Infrastructure as Code methodologies.
• Manage and optimise cloud and virtualised environments across multiple platforms.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve system performance, availability, and reliability.
• Implement security best practices across infrastructure and deployment processes.
• Collaborate with development teams to streamline workflows and improve delivery pipelines.
• Maintain monitoring, logging, and observability solutions.
• Produce and maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and infrastructure diagrams.
• Contribute to infrastructure planning and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Senior Systems Engineer, DevOps Engineer, Site Reliability Engineer, or similar role.
• Strong experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or CircleCI.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong cloud and virtualization experience, including AWS, Azure, VMware, or similar platforms.
• Experience with scripting languages such as Python or Bash.
• Strong understanding of networking, compute, storage, and infrastructure concepts.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
