STRUCTURAL ENGINEER | WINDHOEK, NAMIBIA Full Time

Our client is seeking a skilled Structural Engineer to join their Windhoek team and contribute to an exciting portfolio spanning residential, commercial, hospitality and industrial developments. With current projects focused on the Green Hydrogen and hospitality sectors, this role offers exposure to innovative and technically challenging work.

Key Responsibilities
• Produce and manage structural engineering designs for concrete and structural steel.
• Support senior engineers in managing engineering teams and project deliverables.
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, project managers and other stakeholders.
• Ensure designs comply with applicable standards, codes and safety requirements.
• Conduct site visits, inspections and provide technical input during construction.
• Manage multiple projects while maintaining quality and meeting deadlines.

Requirements
• B.Sc., B.Eng. or B.Tech in Structural Engineering.
• 3–5 years’ structural engineering experience.
• Proven experience with concrete and structural steel design.
• Civil engineering experience will be advantageous.
• Proficiency in structural analysis and design software such as Prokon, AutoCAD and/or Revit.
• Revit experience is advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of building codes, standards and construction practices.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently, under pressure and to tight deadlines.
• Self-motivated approach with a strong commitment to professional and ethical standards.
