Accountant Full Time

We have an amazing opportunity for an Accountant at an FMCG Manufacturing Company based in Rosslyn, Pretoria! The main purpose of this role is:
– to effectively manage the branch’s general ledger. The incumbent will be required to prepare and ensure the timeous and accurate presentation of all relevant Financial Reports, while assisting with the accounting function of the Rosslyn factory and controlling raw material costings.

We require a candidate with:
• A completed National Diploma or B.Comm Degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and standard Microsoft Office applications.
• Solid experience with AX (Microsoft Dynamics AX) or similar ERP systems.
• Proven exposure to and knowledge of the FMCG sector.
• Strong technical capabilities in reconciling Balance Sheet accounts, preparing monthly standard/correctional journals, and managing month-end investigations and reporting.
• Experience in compiling materials consumed reports, analyzing raw material costings, and investigating variance reports.
• Experience preparing year-end and interim working papers for auditors.
