C Programmer Full Time

Our client is seeking a skilled C Programmer to join their development team in Durban. This is an excellent opportunity for a software developer with strong C programming experience who enjoys developing efficient, reliable and high-performance applications in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities
• Develop, maintain and enhance software applications using C.
• Analyse technical requirements and implement robust software solutions.
• Troubleshoot, debug and resolve software defects.
• Optimise application performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the development lifecycle.
• Produce clean, maintainable and well-documented code.
• Participate in testing, code reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support existing software applications and implement enhancements where required.

Minimum Requirements
• Strong commercial experience programming in C.
• Solid understanding of software development principles.
• Experience with debugging and performance optimisation.
• Knowledge of Linux or Unix-based development environments will be advantageous.
• Familiarity with SQL databases is beneficial.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Relevant Information Technology qualification will be advantageous.
