C&I Engineer Full Time

We have a client with an amazing opportunity based in Gauteng

Role: C&I Engineer
Industry: Renewable Energy / Electrical Engineering
Level: Senior Engineering Professional (8-10 years experience)

Key Requirements:
• Relevant degree/diploma in Electrical Engineering or related field
• 8-10 years of proven experience in control and instrumentation engineering within renewable energy projects and power generation facilities
• Extensive track record of successfully delivering large-scale C&I projects in solar, wind, or other renewable energy installations
• Advanced proficiency in control system design and programming including PLC, DCS, and SCADA systems
• Strong expertise in instrumentation selection, installation, calibration, and maintenance protocols
• Comprehensive knowledge of industry standards including ISA, IEC, and IEEE compliance requirements
• Demonstrated project management capabilities with ability to oversee multiple concurrent projects
• Experience in developing P&IDs, control philosophies, and system architectures
• Proven ability to conduct commissioning, troubleshooting, and system optimization

• Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary engineering teams, project managers, and plant operations personnel

• Proactive and results-driven professional who can work independently while managing multiple project deliverables
• Adaptable team player comfortable working in dynamic renewable energy environments and remote project locations
• Strong organizational skills with ability to develop and implement preventive maintenance programs and optimization strategies for renewable energy systems
