Electrical Engineer Full Time

An excellent career opportunity is available for an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our client’s dynamic consulting engineering team in KwaZulu-Natal. This role is ideal for a technically capable engineer who enjoys taking ownership of projects from concept through to completion while working closely with clients and multidisciplinary teams.
You’ll play a key role in delivering innovative electrical engineering solutions across a range of building and infrastructure projects while ensuring designs meet client expectations, industry standards, and project deadlines.

Your responsibilities will include:
• Developing electrical engineering designs and technical documentation.
• Managing project delivery from planning through to completion.
• Collaborating with engineers, architects, and other project stakeholders.
• Producing accurate calculations, drawings, and design reports.
• Ensuring compliance with relevant South African regulations and standards.
• Monitoring project budgets, schedules, and deliverables.
• Building long-term relationships with clients through exceptional service.
• Providing technical guidance and resolving engineering challenges.

Requirements:
• BEng in Electrical Engineering.
• Professionally registered with ECSA
• Approximately 10 years’ post-graduate consulting engineering experience.
• Experience using AutoCAD and Revit, with MS Project considered advantageous.
• Experience with software such as DIALux, Relux, ReticMaster, Autodesk applications, and solar PV design packages would be beneficial.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while producing high-quality technical work.
