Full Stack Developer – Lead Experience Full Time

Our client is seeking an experienced Full Stack Developer with proven leadership, mentoring and systems-thinking capabilities. This role offers the opportunity to combine hands-on development with technical leadership, helping guide a development team while contributing directly to the design and delivery of reliable business-critical systems.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop clean, scalable front-end and back-end solutions.
• Spend approximately 60% of your time on hands-on development and 40% on leading, training and mentoring developers.
• Build, document and maintain APIs and system integrations.
• Design, optimise and maintain databases for performance, accuracy and integrity.
• Use Git workflows and CI/CD pipelines to support reliable deployments.
• Conduct and participate in code reviews.
• Troubleshoot application issues and improve system performance.
• Contribute throughout the software development lifecycle within an Agile environment.
• Translate business requirements into practical technical solutions.
• Mentor and support junior developers.
• Identify opportunities to improve systems, processes and development practices.
• Embrace AI-assisted development tools or demonstrate a willingness to incorporate them into your workflow.

Requirements:

• Strong commercial experience as a Full Stack Developer.
• Proven .NET/C# development experience.
• Relevant qualification in software development or a related field.
• Strong understanding of .NET frameworks and modern development practices.
• Solid front-end knowledge, including HTML5, CSS, XML and jQuery.
• Proven experience developing and integrating APIs.
• Strong SQL and database skills, including schema design, optimisation and performance tuning.
• Experience with SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS), SSRS and writing effective queries and reports.
• Experience in ERP and/or retail systems is highly advantageous.
• Demonstrated experience leading, mentoring or guiding other developers.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving ability.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• A systems-thinking mindset with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to take ownership and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Exposure to AWS or Azure is advantageous.
