Junior Electrical Engineer – Water & Wastewater Full Time

Our client is seeking a Junior Electrical Engineer to join their Cape Town-based team, offering an excellent opportunity for an engineer with 1–3 years’ experience to develop their career within the water and wastewater sector.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assist with the design and development of electrical systems for water and wastewater projects.
• Prepare electrical drawings, specifications, calculations and technical documentation.
• Support senior engineers with project planning, coordination and technical problem-solving.
• Assist with site inspections, commissioning and troubleshooting of electrical installations.
• Liaise with multidisciplinary project teams, contractors and other stakeholders.
• Ensure designs and deliverables comply with applicable standards and project requirements.

Requirements:
• BEng/BSc/BTech in Electrical Engineering or a related qualification.
• 1–3 years’ relevant electrical engineering experience.
• Experience or exposure to water and wastewater projects will be advantageous.
• Proficiency in relevant engineering design and documentation software.
• Strong technical, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and organisational abilities.
