Pricing Actuarial Analyst Full Time

We have an amazing opportunity for a Pricing Actuarial Analyst at a leading commercial insurance company based in Rosebank, Johannesburg!

The main purpose of this role is:

– To provide actuarial pricing support to the business, contribute to strategic pricing initiatives, and develop sound analytical models that enable better risk decisions and pricing outcomes

We require a candidate with:
• Degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, or a related field
• Progress toward actuarial qualification with a local society
• At least 2 years of experience in an actuarial environment
• Exposure to multiple functions preferred (e.g., pricing, reserving, capital modelling)
• Intermediate knowledge of actuarial principles and insurance regulations
• Basic to intermediate knowledge of statistical tools and programming languages (e.g., Python, R, SAS)
• Strong Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills
