Senior Pricing Specialist Full Time

We have an amazing opportunity for a Senior Pricing Specialist at a leading financial services group based in Centurion!

The main purpose of this role is:
– The main purpose of this role is to lead pricing and product development within the commercial short-term insurance space, while managing and mentoring actuarial staff and translating complex actuarial concepts into client-friendly solutions.

We require a candidate with:
• A Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Statistics, Business Sciences or Business Mathematics
• Qualified Actuary (FIA, FFA, or FASSA) – highly advantageous
• Minimum 8 years’ experience in actuarial modelling, pricing, and product development within short-term insurance
• Strong commercial pricing experience (Commercial lines advantageous)
• 5–8 years’ management experience (desirable)
• Advanced actuarial modelling and statistical analysis expertise
• Strong programming and data analytics capability (SQL, SAS, R, Python advantageous)
• Experience with pricing tools such as Earnix, AKUR8, or Willis Towers Watson advantageous
• Advanced Excel skills
