Qualified Actuary Full Time

Our client is seeking a qualified Actuary to provide specialist actuarial expertise across financial modelling, valuations, risk management, and strategic decision-making. The successful candidate will bring strong technical knowledge, commercial awareness, and the ability to translate complex actuarial analysis into practical business insights.

**Key Responsibilities**

* Perform actuarial valuations, modelling, forecasting, and financial analysis.
* Develop, review, and maintain actuarial models and methodologies.
* Analyse experience data and assess actuarial assumptions.
* Provide actuarial input into pricing, reserving, capital, and risk management activities where applicable.
* Conduct scenario, sensitivity, and stress testing.
* Prepare actuarial reports, presentations, and management information.
* Support regulatory and statutory reporting requirements.
* Identify emerging financial and actuarial risks and provide relevant insights.
* Collaborate with finance, risk, investments, and other business functions.
* Provide technical guidance on actuarial matters and strategic projects.

**Requirements**

* Fully qualified Actuary with membership of a recognised actuarial professional body.
* Relevant degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related discipline.
* Relevant post-qualification experience within insurance or financial services.
* Strong actuarial modelling and financial analysis skills.
* Excellent numerical, statistical, and analytical capabilities.
* Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and familiarity with actuarial systems.
* Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
