Structural Draughtsperson / Technician / Technologist Full Time

Our client is seeking a skilled Structural Draughtsperson, Technician, or Technologist to join their growing engineering team based in Cape Town. This primarily remote opportunity is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with a strong background in structural detailing and drafting across residential, commercial, and industrial projects.

Key Responsibilities
• Prepare accurate structural drawings and detailed construction documentation for residential, commercial, and industrial developments.
• Produce structural detailing using AutoCAD, Revit, and Prokon.
• Develop reinforcement and structural steel detailing in accordance with engineering designs.
• Coordinate drawings and technical information with engineers, architects, and external consultants.
• Ensure all drawings comply with project requirements and applicable drafting standards.
• Revise drawings based on engineering comments and project changes.
• Maintain high levels of accuracy while managing multiple projects and deadlines.

Minimum Requirements
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in structural drafting and detailing.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and Prokon.
• Experience producing structural drawings for residential, commercial, and industrial structures.
• Strong understanding of structural detailing principles and construction documentation.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote working environment.
• Strong attention to detail and effective time management.
