Water Resources Engineer Full Time

A specialist engineering consultancy is looking for a knowledgeable Water Resources Engineer to join their team in Johannesburg. Share your CV with us and start the journey of joining a skilled team of like-minded individuals.

Role requirements:
• BEng/ BSc Civil Engineering
• 5-7 years’ experience
• Master’s degree in Hydrology is advantageous
• Proficient in GoldSim, ModelMaker, HEC-RAS, PCSWMM and UPFLOOD

Key responsibilities:
• Perform surface water and flood peak runoff calculations
• Determine flood lines as well as flood risk assessments
• Water level analysis
• Reservoir and canal routing.
• Perform impact assessments on surface water
• Designing spillways
• Analysing dam breaks
