Professional Engineer – Structural Engineering (PrEng) Full Time

Our client has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Professional Structural Engineer to join a dynamic consulting engineering team. The successful candidate will provide technical leadership, manage multiple structural engineering projects, and deliver innovative design solutions while working closely with clients and multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities
• Lead structural engineering projects through all phases of delivery.
• Develop conceptual designs, structural calculations, and value engineering solutions.
• Design reinforced concrete and structural steel structures using industry-leading software.
• Prepare and review engineering documentation, drawings, and reports.
• Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers.
• Coordinate with architects, contractors, consultants, and project stakeholders.
• Ensure projects are delivered within programme, budget, and quality requirements.
• Attend project meetings and undertake site inspections as required.
• Support continuous improvement and engineering excellence across the team.

Requirements
• BEng or BSc in Civil Engineering.
• ECSA registration as a Professional Engineer (PrEng).
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in structural engineering consulting.
• Extensive experience designing concrete and steel structures, including multi-storey commercial buildings.
• Expert proficiency in Prokon and finite element design software.
• Working knowledge of Revit, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office.
• Strong organisational, communication, and leadership skills.
• Valid driver’s licence and own transport.
• Ability to manage multiple projects independently.
