Senior Professional Quantity Surveyor – Commercial & Retail Full Time

Our client is urgently seeking an experienced Senior Professional Quantity Surveyor with a strong background in commercial and retail developments. The successful candidate will bring solid cost management expertise together with proven proficiency in WinQS and DimX.

Key Responsibilities:
• Manage quantity surveying functions across commercial and retail projects.
• Prepare and review cost estimates, bills of quantities and tender documentation.
• Manage valuations, variations, payment certificates and final accounts.
• Monitor project costs, budgets and financial performance.
• Liaise with clients, contractors, consultants and project teams.
• Provide commercial and contractual guidance throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure accurate and timely project reporting and cost control.

Requirements:
• 8-10+ years’ experience
• Senior-level Quantity Surveying experience.
• Professional registration as a Quantity Surveyor is preferred.
• Proven commercial and/or retail project experience.
• Strong proficiency in WinQS and DimX.
• Sound knowledge of construction contracts, procurement and cost management.
• Excellent analytical, communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple project requirements.
• Based in or willing to work in Johannesburg.
