Senior Quantity Surveyor – Building Construction Full Time NEW

Our client is looking for a motivated and experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to support the commercial delivery of building projects in Cape Town. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to high-quality construction projects while ensuring effective cost control, contractual compliance, and financial performance.

Key Responsibilities
• Oversee the commercial management of building projects from tender through to final account.
• Prepare cost plans, bills of quantities, and financial reports.
• Manage contract administration, variations, and claims.
• Evaluate subcontractor tenders and oversee subcontractor payments.
• Monitor project cash flow and cost performance.
• Provide commercial advice to project management teams.
• Support successful project delivery through proactive risk and cost management.

Requirements
• Relevant tertiary qualification in Quantity Surveying.
• Demonstrated experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor in the building construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of construction contracts, estimating, and cost management.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• High level of accuracy and commercial acumen.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced project environment.
