Senior Renewable Energy Engineer Full Time

We have a client with an amazing opportunity based in Johannesburg, Gauteng.

Role: Senior Renewable Energy Engineer
Industry: Energy & Sustainability Consulting
Level: Senior/Principal Level

Key Requirements:
• B.Eng. or BSc. in Electrical Engineering, with preferential consideration for candidates holding additional qualifications in renewable energy
• Professional registration with ECSA (Engineering Council of South Africa)
• Proven project management capabilities with experience leading technical advisory, owner’s engineer, and design services within renewable energy projects
• Strong technical writing and presentation skills, including bid preparation, proposal development, and technical report writing
• Experience in reviewing and quality assurance of technical reports, drawings, and presentations
• Track record of successfully delivering complex renewable energy projects for diverse client portfolios

• Strong leadership qualities with demonstrated ability to mentor and develop junior engineering talent
• Excellent communication skills with capability to provide both technical and commercial guidance
• Strategic thinking with ability to drive team development across multiple office locations
