Site Quantity Surveyor Full Time

A leading civil construction project environment is seeking a Site Quantity Surveyor to oversee the commercial delivery of projects throughout the Western Cape. The successful candidate will play a key role in cost management, measurement, contract administration and claims while working directly with the site team.

What You’ll Be Responsible For
• Take ownership of the commercial aspects of assigned civil construction projects.
• Conduct accurate measurement and assist with project cost management.
• Prepare monthly payment certificates and related commercial documentation.
• Monitor budgets and expenditure against project requirements.
• Manage contractual processes and claims.
• Assist with cash flow forecasting and financial planning.
• Support effective contract administration throughout the project lifecycle.
• Collaborate with the Site Agent and wider project team.
• Provide regular commercial reporting to the Contracts Manager / Commercial Manager.

What You’ll Need
• Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or Civil Engineering.
• 3–5 years’ relevant civil construction experience.
• Proven site-based Quantity Surveying experience.
• Knowledge of SANS 1200.
• Practical experience in cost control, budgeting, measurement and payment certificates.
• Understanding of contract administration, claims and cash flow forecasting.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and MS Project proficiency.
• EJM or comparable costing software experience is advantageous.
• Valid driver’s licence.
